"So it’s like instant coffee - a reference to something desirable. Or like when cartoon characters leave a silhouette shaped hole in the wall.
Or it’s like when you open a can of sardines and instead of three pickled fish you have two pickled fish and Kanye West. And you’re all like ‘Whaahat?!” and he’s all like “Blood stains the Colosseum doors” and it gets you thinking; What am I doing with my life? I mean I’ve graduated art college, I sort of have a studio but really - what am I actually doing? Like, there is no form; - no point of reference, no vector of desire.
And then you think fuck it. I mean if my CD case can be a pencil why can’t I be Kanye West.
I wanna be a wannabe - to be a performer of fame, not just a famous performer; to make it by faking it." Rosa Nussbaum
